Products and Listings

Delta Rice is a multivendor marketplace. Individual farmers and authorised vendors list their heritage rice varieties on the platform. Each listing displays the variety name, farm origin, harvest season, farming type, and product age as provided by the respective farmer or vendor.

APSSA Private Limited conducts quality checks on all batches before they are listed and dispatched. However, natural variations in colour, size, and aroma may occur between batches of the same variety due to seasonal and environmental factors. These are characteristics of authentic heritage rice and do not constitute a defect.

Product images on the website are for representative purposes. Actual appearance may vary slightly.

Orders and Payments

When you place an order on deltarice.in, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product at the listed price. Your order is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email or message from us. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including in cases of stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.

We accept the following payment methods:

• UPI — all major UPI apps
• Credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, RuPay
• Net banking — all major Indian banks
• Digital wallets — as available at checkout

All payments are processed securely through our integrated payment gateway. We do not store your card or payment details on our servers. Full payment is required at the time of placing the order.

Pricing

All prices listed on deltarice.in are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges, if any, are calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you place the order. In the event of a pricing error, we will notify you and give you the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

Shipping and Delivery

We deliver across India. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on your location, courier availability, and other factors outside our control.

• Standard delivery: 4 to 7 business days from dispatch
• Metro cities: typically 3 to 5 business days
• Remote or rural areas: may take up to 10 business days

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link. Delivery is attempted up to two times. If delivery is unsuccessful after two attempts due to reasons on the customer’s side (wrong address, unavailability), re-delivery charges may apply.

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the address provided at checkout. APSSA Private Limited is not responsible for delays caused by the courier partner, natural events, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Returns and Refunds

We want you to be fully satisfied with your order. If you receive a product that is damaged, incorrect, or significantly different from what was described, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order details and a photograph of the product.

The following situations are eligible for a replacement or refund:

• Product received is physically damaged or tampered
• Wrong variety or product delivered
• Product is significantly past its stated age or harvest date
• Package is missing items confirmed in the order

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

• Natural variation in grain colour, size, or aroma between batches
• Change of mind after delivery
• Products that have been opened, used, or stored incorrectly
• Requests made after 48 hours of delivery

Approved refunds will be processed within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method.

Product Information and Traceability

Delta Rice is committed to providing accurate and complete crop information for every product listed on the platform. Each listing includes the variety name, farmer details, harvest season, farming type, and product age.

This information is provided by the farmer or vendor at the time of listing and verified by APSSA Private Limited during quality checks. While we take every reasonable step to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee absolute precision in every case due to the natural and artisanal nature of the products.

Farmer and Vendor Terms

Farmers and vendors who list their products on Delta Rice agree to the following when onboarding to the platform:

• All information provided — including variety name, harvest season, farming type, and farm location — must be accurate and truthful
• Products listed must be single, unblended varieties with no undisclosed additives or treatments
• Farmers grant APSSA Private Limited the right to quality check, repackage, and distribute products under the Delta Rice brand
• APSSA Private Limited handles storage, packaging, and delivery; farmers are responsible solely for production and timely supply
• Payment to farmers is made as per the agreed terms at the time of onboarding, after deduction of platform service fees
• Farmers must not list the same product simultaneously through competing channels at a lower price than listed on Delta Rice

APSSA Private Limited reserves the right to remove any listing, suspend, or permanently delist any farmer or vendor who violates these terms or whose products fail quality checks.

Intellectual Property

All content on deltarice.in — including but not limited to the Delta Rice name, logo, brand identity, website design, product descriptions, blog articles, images, and the AI advisor — is the intellectual property of APSSA Private Limited and is protected under applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, or commercially exploit any content from this website without prior written permission from APSSA Private Limited. Linking to our website for non-commercial purposes is permitted, provided it does not imply endorsement or misrepresent our brand.
