Why To Buy In Deltarice

Struggles Every Rice Buyer Faces

Let’s be honest – buying rice isn’t just about spending money, it also needs some knowledge. But these days, even smart buyers find it hard to pick good quality, healthy rice. Why? Because most rice packs don’t mention important details like whether it’s raw or steamed, or when it was harvested. So, people end up buying and eating it first, only to realize later if it suits them or not..

❓ What’s Happening to Me After Eating Rice?

These days, many people feel indigestion, joint pain, or body discomfort — and rice could be one reason.
This might happen if:
You’re eating new crop rice (not aged for a year)
The rice variety doesn’t suit your body
The rice was grown using harmful chemicals or pesticides
👉 Aged rice (at least 1 year old) is generally better for digestion and overall health. But where do you find such rice, and how do you know what’s good for you?

🍽️ It’s Time to Discover the Right Rice for You

Most people buy rice from a supermarket or a popular brand. Sometimes, the rice feels perfect — soft, tasty, and easy to digest.

But next time, even from the same shop or brand, the rice might feel different. Why?

Because the stock keeps changing, and you don’t always get the same variety, age, or season crop as before.

✅ Things You Should Know Before Buying Rice

🔍 What Variety Are You Eating?
Many rice types look the same, but they’re different in taste, nutrition, and cooking.
Farmers grow many varieties, and rice mills often mix similar-looking grains. So what you’re buying as “one variety” could actually be a mixture of many

🗓️ Which Season Was It Grown In?

Kharif crop rice is best in taste rather compared to rabi crop rice but how many of us know which season crop we are eating and where can we find if we want to buy certain season crop rice?

🌾 Raw Rice vs Boiled Rice

Most rice in the market today is new crop rice, which is less than a year old.

New rice becomes sticky, has a bad texture, and doesn’t digest well.

To fix this, many suppliers boil the raw paddy.

Here’s how it’s done:

Paddy is soaked in water → Then boiled in high-pressure boilers → Dried → Milled → Polished → Becomes white boiled rice.

Boiled rice removes some harmful parts, but it still contains high starch and causes digestive issues for many people.

Boiled rice means soaking Raw Paddy in water tanks at room temperature for several hours and then that soaked paddy will be Boiled in Pressure Boilers and then the boiled paddy will be dried. Finally, it is milled and polished to get White Boiled Rice.
This boiled rice eliminates the harmful content but the starch content and some access content remain which cause health problems and mainly digestive problems.
